Restraint and Courage

Perseverance

A short Ma’at meditation on perseverance, truth, and the discipline of right living.

Meditation XLVI 1 minute read 109 words

When you embark on a worthy endeavor, persevere through difficulty.
The stone is shaped to a statue by many steady strokes, not one blow.
If you stumble, do not be ashamed – pick yourself up and continue.
Obstacles test your resolve: the easy path often leads nowhere.
Be patient as the eagle circling high, waiting for the right moment to strike.
Great achievements are collections of small actions done faithfully each day.
Do not let setbacks break your spirit. Rest if you must, but do not give up the journey.
Ma’at favors the soul that keeps walking forward, even on rough ground.
