This proposed book would reconsider career decisions through the lens of sustainable capacity. It would explore the difference between a role that looks attractive on paper and one that works with a person's health, care responsibilities, energy, and financial constraints. Readers would examine schedules, autonomy, income predictability, commute demands, and recovery time, then build better questions for interviews and workplace conversations. The approach would acknowledge difficult tradeoffs without presenting an ideal job as universally available.
