Action
A short Ma’at meditation on action, truth, and the discipline of right living.
Words are seeds; deeds are the fruit.
A promise means little until it is fulfilled.
Do not announce what you will do – do it, and let the work speak.
The wind carries off idle boasts, but the results of effort remain.
If you say you will help your brother, help him without delay.
If you commit to a task, see it through.
Many speak, few act; be among the few.
In the end, actions – not words – uphold Ma’at in this world.
