Wisdom

A short Ma’at meditation on wisdom, truth, and the discipline of right living.

Meditation XXVI 1 minute read 91 words

A fool thinks he is perfect; a wise person knows they are not.
The fool takes pride in loud opinions; the wise asks questions in quiet.
Wisdom is more listening than speaking.
It grows not from age alone, but from an open heart and mind.
The river of knowledge flows into the sea of wisdom only when the channels of pride are cleared.
Do not be wise in your own eyes.
Seek counsel and ponder deeply – wisdom will enter your soul like the dawn.
