How much can I read for free?
You can read approximately the first 20% of standard books for free. Research papers and their PDF downloads are also free.
How do renewals and cancellations work?
Paid memberships renew monthly. You can cancel future billing through Stripe’s billing portal when available. If you need help managing or cancelling your subscription, email Kevin with your checkout email. Partial-period refund requests are reviewed case by case. See the refund policy.
How do I get access after checkout?
Sign in with the same email you used at Stripe checkout. Your membership and purchased PDFs are linked to that account. Open your account to find your access.
What does Basic unlock?
Basic unlocks full online reading for standard books and member research reports. Individual PDF purchases are separate.
What does Premium add?
Premium includes everything in Basic, access to available premium books and live drafts, and 2 PDF credits per month.
Do PDF credits roll over?
No. Premium PDF credits expire monthly and do not roll over. They apply to eligible PDF editions and are not redeemable for cash.
Can I still buy a PDF without being a member?
Yes. Available PDF editions and bundles are one-time purchases through Stripe. You do not need a paid membership.
Is Benefactor required to read?
No. Benefactor is a deeper support tier; Premium is the top reading-access tier.
Is book funding all-or-nothing?
No. Funding payments are immediate support/preorder-style contributions through Stripe.
