Inner Virtue

Renewal

A short Ma’at meditation on renewal, truth, and the discipline of right living.

Meditation LXIX 1 minute read 111 words

No matter how far you have gone down a wrong road, you can always turn back.
Each morning the sun returns and with it a chance to begin anew.
Do not cling to past mistakes out of pride or despair.
Shed your old skin like a serpent and step again onto the path of Ma’at.
The gods are patient with those who sincerely change.
Apologize where needed, forgive yourself, and move forward.
As long as breath remains, hope remains for a better course.
A tarnished heart can be polished by honest effort.
Renewal is always possible – this mercy is woven into creation.
